Not Your Average DJ… By the age of 10, DJ Forerunner already had a grasp on Hip-Hop, Funk, Rock, Soul, Pop & R&B and you can hear those influences when he’s performing. DJ Forerunner mixes lyrics and melodies to create a one-of-a-kind experience. He’s always had an ear for music and always kept a rhythm in some form or fashion. He started off playing a variety of instruments as a child. But it wasn’t until the combination of watching a DJ Jazzy Jeff Video on YouTube and DJing his first event in college that he knew what he wanted to do with his life. DJ Forerunner is an amazing Open Format DJ. He doesn’t stick to any particular script or formula when it comes to spinning records. This means you can hear him playing anything from today's hottest in Hip-Hop to Classic dance tracks of the 70s and 80s. Inspired by some of the great “forerunners” (pun intended), he brings their style, showmanship, and professionalism to every gig. You can hear DJ Forerunner 5 days a week on Lexington’s Hot 102.5. He can be heard on the Kidd Kraddick Morning Show. You can also catch him traveling in your city DJing various clubs, corporate events, weddings and more.
