FIT Radio was hired to MC and DJ the Warrior Dash Georgia Event this past weekend. For those of you who don’t know what the Warrior Dash is, I would highly suggest checking it out here! In short, it’s a 15-45 minute race (depending how fast you are) through obstacles that involve walls, tires, mud, electricity, ropes, water, and even fire!
My favorite part is that the race was pup-friendly! There were dogs just CHILLIN everywhere!
A Word of Advice: Pay attention to what you wear underneath your clothing! That mud is like an x-ray machine (girls, this is not the day to wear your granny panties – I would suggest boy shorts and would definitely recommend a slightly padded sports bra)! There were some grown men wearing tiny speedos (no judgement here – rock on!), but if you aren’t the type of person who wants to show everything, plan ahead!
At the end of the race, there is food, beer, loud music, and an awards ceremony featuring the best costume and best times. A lot of people dress up for the race, which is always fun!! My favorite costume was a lady in a white wedding dress – which was completely covered in mud by the end of the race!
Everyone seemed to be a HUGE fan of group dances (like The Wobble and Cupid Shuffle), and it was very interesting to watch everyone dance together, all covered in mud, with warrior hats on! ![]()
The Warrior Dash is held in over 50 locations all over the World; Georgia was only the 5th event or so this year, so check out their website to find a location near you!

FIT Radio was invited to provide music for the Finish Line at The Color Run this past weekend at Piedmont Park in Atlanta. Since we all talked about how exciting it looked months before while we sat in the office, we were all thrilled to receive the opportunity to partner up with such a unique race. We brought out a team of Promo Girls with FIT Radio stencils and neon orange paint; as the girls ran around tagging people, they also got in on the action (see Abby, a FIT Radio promo girl, covered in paint to the left).
